Graeme Dickey

It is with great sadness that the Belgrave Cricket Club announces that passing of Graeme Dickey.

Graeme played 13 seasons for Belgrave 1969 to 1982 and from those who knew him, would best describe him as “A ripping bloke”.

Graeme’s list of achievements outline one of Belgrave Cricket Clubs Greatest ever players.

  • 3 x Premiership player (73/74, 76/77 and 77/78
  • 2 Seasons Captain / Coach (72/73 and 80/81)
  • 4599 Runs at an average of 35.11 with highest score of 135
  • 5 x 1st XI batting average winner
  • 3rd Highest 1st XI run scorer of all time
  • 10th Highest run scorer (all grades)
  • 8 x 1st XI centuries  and 33 x 1st XI half centuries
  • 17 wickets at an average of 23.94 BB 3/26
  • Life Member
  • Team of the Century Member
  • Hall of Fame member
  • Club Secretary on two occasions
